Mourinho: I have time to turn Chelsea around

Manchester United shares rise after Mourinho’s departure

Jose Mourinho insists he has over three years left at Chelsea, amid fresh speculation that he could be sacked in the coming weeks.
Reports this week claim the Portuguese manager will be dismissed if results don’t go his way in the Champions League against Dynamo Kiev tomorrow evening, and at Stoke on Saturday.
Asked whether he knows how much time he has to turn Chelsea’s fortunes around this season, Mourinho said: “I don’t have to answer… I have four years. Or, in this case, three years and seven months.”
The Chelsea boss also refused to speculate over a story reported in the media earlier this week claiming that one of his players would rather lose than win a match for him.
“It’s a question for the player, not for me,” he said.
Tuesday’s press-conference, ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League tie against Kiev, comes less than 24 hours after Mourinho was handed a £40,000 fine and a one game stadium ban for his behaviour at Upton Park last month.
