Money laundering: Senegal will not extradite Diack’s son

Senegal’s Prime Minister said his country will not extradite Papa Massata Diack, the son of former International Amateur Athletics Federation (IAAF) president, Lamine Diack, wanted for alleged corruption and money laundering.
“We will not extradite a Senegalese … those are the instructions the President (Macky Sall) gave the government,” said Prime Minister Mahammad Boun Abdallah Dionne in parliament on Thursday.
Interpol issued an international arrest warrant for the younger Diack this month, adding that French judicial authorities want to prosecute him.
