Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has sacked the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Mrs Toyin Balogun.
This is contained in a statement issued on Wednesday in Ibadan by the Special Adviser to the Governor, Dr Suleimon Olanrewaju.
According to the statement, the Commissioner for Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperative, Alhaja Fausat Sanni, has been redeployed to replace Balogun at the Women Affairs’ Ministry, with immediate effect.
Makinde thanked Balogun for her contributions to the development of the state and wished her success in her future endeavour.
Sanni had earlier served as the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion from 2019 to 2023, and Ministry of Special Duties, before being recently redeployed to Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperative.
