The General Overseer of Jesus Revival Zion Church, Imota, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Apostle John Adeyemi, has urged religious leaders to support the federal government with prayers in the quest to reshape the economy.

Adeyemi made the call on Sunday, during the inauguration of a Non Governmental Organisation,(NGO), John Impact Foundation, launching of new books and marking of his birthday.

According to him, the NGO is aimed at promoting free education, food and clothes to the less privileged, and building of hospitals, among others.

“This is a trying time for the country, all hands have to be on deck, as we need to support government for a resounding economy.

” I urge religious leaders to throw weight behind the administration of President Bola Tinubu as he drives the economy of Nigeria to the next level.

“Our NGO is initiated to support people, promote free education and provide free health care to the vulnerable in the society,” he said.

Adeyemi, also the founder and president of Yeshua Theological Seminary, expressed gratitude to those who made the celebration a remarkable one.

He said that he was grateful to God for the grace upon his life.

The cleric urged fellow Christians and Church leaders to take advantage of his books, which were aimed at helping people, giving them a way to transformation in their various ministries, businesses and other areas of their lives.

He revealed that God had inspired him to be writing books since 2015, with his published works numbering 10, 30 e-books to his credit with the launch of two new books entitled, “Multipurpose Deliverance Prayer” and “Exploits In Ministry Manual”.

According to him, the books have been a great blessing to the lives of people all around the world, leading him to world conferences and adopted in schools as their teaching manual.

The book reviewer, Mr Samson Oyenekan, an editor and publisher, said that the Multipurpose Deliverance Prayer Handbook has 11 chapters filled with different key points for prayers.

He said the Exploit In Ministry Manual contains facts about the ministry of God.

Oyenekan said that the books are veritable tools for teaching Christians about the virtues of Jesus Christ.

Earlier, Pastor Jonathan Omobowale advised people to support the NGO in carrying out its charity programs, which would benefit residents of Imota and beyond.

Other guests in attendance showered encomiums on Apostle Adeyemi,  describing him as a complete servant of God, father in the Lord, and committed church leader.

They said he was committed to the work of God as well as the growth of the community.
