Kwara: APC expels Ishola Balogun-Fulani, others

APC accuses PDP of creating atmosphere of fear, plotting violence ahead of Bayelsa, Kogi governorship elections

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expelled Alhaji Ishola Balogun-Fulani and other members of his factional Kwara State executive from the party.
This was announced in a statement by the party’s acting National Publicity Secretary on Sunday night in Abuja.
No reason was given for the action.
But, it is believed Balogun-Fulani was expelled because of the parallel primary he conducted in the state.
According to Nabena, the NWC has also rescheduled the party’s governorship primaries in Ogun, Zamfara. Bauchi and Abia states to Monday.
He also announced schedule of activities for Osun and Kwara state direct primaries as stated below.
*Kwara State schedule of activities are scheduled as follows:*
*Monday, October 1st, 2018 – House of Assembly Screening
*Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018 – Senate Primary
*Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018 – House of Representatives Primary
*Thursday, October 4th, 2018 – Governorship Primary
*Friday, October 5th, 2018 – House of Assembly Primary
*Osun State schedule of activities are scheduled as follows:*
*Monday, October 1st, 2018 to Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018 – House of Assembly Screening
*Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018 – House of Assembly Primary
*Thursday, October 4th, 2018 – House of Representatives Primary
*Friday, October 5th, 2018 – Senate Primary.
