Former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, on Friday, led Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship campaign at Eyean area of Uhuwonde Local Government, Edo State with massive turnout.

Kwankwaso, also a former Defence Minister, declared to the joyous crowd that former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, and the APC governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, are wasting their time.

He said the PDP candidate, Governor Godwin Obaseki, would be reelected on September 19 “by the good people of Edo State who know the quality of work done by the governor since 2016”.

Kwankwaso also said members of the Hausa community in the South-South state have vowed to frustrate any attempt by APC elements to rig the election.
