From Bode Durojaiye. Oyo

Kidnappers of a leading pharmaceutical industrialist, Chief Festus Adebowale Omotoso, has demanded a ransom of N100 million.
Omotoso, who is the National Life Vice-President of NACCIMA, was kidnapped last Wednesday night in his home town, Awe, Afijio Local Government, Oyo State.
He was said to be holding a meeting with some chiefs in the community when a three-man gang armed with guns arrived his residence.
Omotoso, who is also the Otun of Awe, was said to have just
returned from overseas trips.
Freedom Online learned on Monday that the kidnappers are insisting that nothing less than N100 million would be collected before the NACCIMA chief could be freed.
“In fact, a sum of N10 million was offered the kidnappers but
was rejected, insisting that what they want is N100 million’’, a close associate hinted.
He added that more worrisome is the industrialist’s state of health, adding that “it is doubtful if he would be allowed to use some of the drugs as prescribed. This is giving us serious concern’’.
