From Bode Durojaiye, Oyo.
Kidnapped industrialist, Chief Omotoso Adebowale, has been freed.
He returned to his home town, Awe, near Oyo on
Wednesday night amid jubilation by hundreds of elated residents, including chiefs.
Omotoso’s town residence located at Gaa area in the town was filled to the brim when news about his rescue was broken.
Residents were in high spirit as they rendered songs of praise to God for the safe return of their illustrious son.
Looking radiant and beaming with smile, Adebowale thanked God for sparing his life.
He appreciated the people for their love, interest and support.
He also thanked the police, security agencies and the media for their untiring efforts in ensuring his safe and timely rescue from the kidnappers.
An elder of his family at Asalu compound in the town, Pa Adigun, confided in our correspondent how life had been miserable for them since Omotoso, who he referred to as their bread winner, was kidnapped.
The industrialist left home on Thursday to meet some of his
relations outside the state.
