Mrs. Kemi Badenoch, Leader of the United Kingdom Conservative Party, has recounted her encounters with some members of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) while in Nigeria.
In a recent interview with The Free Press, which attracted significant attention, she expressed her trust in the British police, contrasting it with her negative experiences in Nigeria.
Badenoch stated, “My experience with the police in Nigeria was very negative,” and noted that her initial interactions with UK law enforcement were quite positive, highlighting that the Nigeria police had engaged in corrupt practices, including theft.

She recalled a specific incident where her brother’s shoes and watch were stolen, emphasising the dire circumstances that lead individuals to such actions.
