President Goodluck Jonathan is undergoing medical checkup in London, Britain.
This was disclosed, in a statement, by his Special Adviser, Media, Dr Reuben Abati.
Abati explained on Thursday that Jonathan became indisposed in the course of his ongoing visit to London.
The President left Abuja for London on Wednesday to preside over a meeting of Nigeria’s Honorary International Investors’ Council (HIIC).
Abati said the President became indisposed and could not be present at the opening of the meeting.
“President Jonathan has since been examined by competent medical practitioners. He has been advised to rest for a few days.
“The Presidency wishes to assure all Nigerians that President Jonathan’s condition is nothing serious. The medical attention he has sought is only precautionary,’’ Abati said in the statement.
