International flights remain suspended in India until November 30

Commercial international flights to and from India will remain suspended until November 30 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, officials said on Friday.
According to a circular issued by the country’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the restriction will not be applicable for international all-cargo operations and flights specifically approved by the DGCA.
“However, international scheduled flights may be allowed on selected routes by the competent authority on case-to-case basis,” it said.
The ban on international flights has been repeatedly extended amid restriction measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 in India.
However, Indian authorities have long allowed special international flights and those under bilateral “air bubble” arrangements with countries and regions.
