Collection of forms by Political Parties at INEC Headquaters. August 22 to 26, 2016
Conduct of Party Primaries including resolution of disputes arising from the primaries – August 18 to September 19, 2016
Last day for submission of forms CF001 and CF002 at Headquarters – September 22, 2016
Publication of Personal particulars of candidates(CF001) – September 22, 2016
Last day for withdrawal by candidate(s) replacement of withdrawn candidate(s) by political parties – October 12, 2016
Last day for the submission of Nomination forms for political parties – October 19, 2016
Publication of official Register of Voters for the election – October 27, 2016
Publication of list of nominated candidates – October 27, 2016
Publication of Notice of Poll – November 12, 2016
Submission of names of Party Agents for the Election to the Electoral officer of the local government Areas or Area councils – November 19, 2016
Last Day for Campaign – November 24, 2016
Date of Election (Governorship) – November 26, 2016.
