A prominent National Prophet, Professor Tayo Popoola, has assured that God says He would not abandon Nigeria and that the country shall overcome all the challenges facing her at the moment.
In his independence message to the nation which was delivered this morning while ministering during an annual prophetic service at the headquarters of Divine Favour Prayer Assembly Ministries, Mowe, Ogun state, the prophet urged Nigerians to have faith in the ability of God to heal the nation adding that ” so long God did not abandon Noah and his family at a critical moment of national crisis and depression, God will certainly not abandon Nigeria.
His words, during the time of Noah, the scripture says” every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven “( Gen 7:23).
In the midst of this crisis, the scripture says”God remembered Noah and every living thing with him in the ark ( Gen 8:1).

Prophet Popoola therefore, urged Nigerians to shun sinful lifestyle and embrace righteousness stressing that “sin is a reproach but righteousness exalts a nation” – Pro 14:34.
Quoting from the book of Isaiah 60:22, Prophet Popoola reminded Nigerians of His promise that “a little shall become a thousand and a small one shall become a strong nation “.
He noted that all the great countries of the world today started small but through commitment, hard work, patriotism, truthfulness and sincerity, they were able to overcome their crisis of growth and development.
He prayed that Nigeria shall overcome all the problems of insecurity, banditry, kidnapping, terrorism and energy crisis.
