Ighalo happy making progress

Watford FC of England striker, Odion Ighalo, has expressed his happiness in helping another lower division clubside, Watford, to the elite league just as he did four years ago when he played for Granada in the Spanish league.
Ighalo was on loan at the Spanish club in the lower league but his goals proved crucial to the club’s promotion to La Liga from Segunda division in the 2010/2011 season at the expense of Elche whom they beat during the play offs.
The Super Eagles’ forward is having a similar experience with Watford who are through to the Premier League with a game to the end of the 2014/15 Championship season after their away win at Brighton sent them back to the elite division alongside Bournemouth.
Ighalo has contributed 20 goals to Watford’s Championship challenge and could even add to his tally on Saturday when they host Sheffield Wednesday at Vicarage Road in the concluding fixture of the season.
Ighalo stated that he was more than elated at the end of their match against Brighton for the away win and that he was even more delightful when other results came to their advantage.
“We are through to the Premier League and I cannot quantify the way I feel. The road has been so tough but we thank God that He saw us through,” Ighalo said.
“We will continue to remain humble and give tribute to God who has made it happen. It made me remember the time I was with Granada on loan when we qualified for the Spanish La Liga.”
