I remain in PDP, insists Gbemi Saraki

No matter what happens, I won’t leave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), declared Senator Gbemi Saraki.
The first daughter of the late Senator Olusola Saraki spoke at the Ilorin International Airport, Ilorin, Kwara State, insisting that those spreading the rumour of her imminent defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) “are day-dreaming”.
Her brother and former governor of Kwara State, Senator Bukola Saraki, is a chieftain of the APC.
He is also contesting the March 28 senatorial election.
To Gbemi Saraki, it is sad that the 2015 election has focused more on rumours and stories than on real issues.
“The problem with this election is that it has been filled with rumours, counter rumours and stories. We should make the election issue-based and not rumours.
“My folllowers are seasoned politicians; we are seasoned politicians. We understand the system and we know what is important. I don’t need to advise them on what to do because they know what to do and Insha Allah, they shall do it when the time comes.”
