A cleric, Pastor Bayo Oluwafemi of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Sanctuary of Praise Zone, Lagos Province 19, has prescribed various ways of reviving ailing businesses occasioned by Covid-19 in Nigeria.

Speaking as a guest minister at a Business Seminar with the theme: “Reviving ailing businesses in Post Covid-19 era” organised by Divine Favour Prayer Assembly Ministries, Mowe, Ogun State as part of activities marking the second anniversary of Omu-Ajibode branch of the church last weekend, Pastor Oluwafemi described year 2020 as an unusual year with several businesses in comatose as a result of Covid-19 pandemic.

While thanking God that we survived, he said business men and women must now come to the reality of what must be done to revive their ailing businesses and survive.

Part of the reality is that Covid-19 has changed the running of businesses from physical contact to digital realm and that to be in business, you must accept and live with this reality.

He stated that business men and women must programme their minds along the line of the fact that many things have changed adding that new normal is part of the change.

Pastor Oluwafemi argued that businesses must now compulsorily be subjected to microscopic examination in order for businesses to survive.

He charged the business men and women to rigorously work on their distribution channels if they wish to survive.
He cited so many businesses that have aggressively delved into their distribution channels in order to be in business.
He mentioned fast foods, restaurants, Jumia, Insurance companies, Jewellery, Pharmaceutical companies, battery dealers, amongst others which now use bike to bring supply to customers.

He opined that business men and women must similarly embrace technology and e-commerce.

Pastor Oluwafemi argued that whatever you do, your business must welcome customers and winning more and more customers must be a daily pursuit.

He urged them to be innovative in a bid to maximise opportunities presented by Covid-19.

The Head Pastor of the church, Dr.Tayo Popoola, commended the erudity displayed by the guest minister, saying God shall surely reward his labour of love.
