A group known as Moro AA Unity Forum in Kwara has organised special prayers for newly elected leaders in the country.

The prayer was organised at Oyun, Moro Local Government Area of Kwara, to celebrate the victory of President-elect, Sen. Bola Tinubu, Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and all other APC candidates.

Chief Wole Oke, the Leader of the group, said that the emergence of president-elect and all other elected leaders was ordained by God.

Oke, also a Second Republic lawmaker in Kwara, stated that no amount of hang-up, conspiracy and evil machination of the enemies would stop the swearing-in of the elected leaders on May 29.

“Tinubu has a lot of enemies, some are even wishing him dead. They are not the giver of life yet they are playing God.

“God will disappoint them, as nothing will stop his inauguration on May 29,” he said.

The elder statesman said the prayers were put in place to appreciate the mightiness of God for the victory of all APC candidates at the federal and state levels.

He noted that the re-election of AbdulRazaq was predicted due to his creditable performance during his first term administration.

Oke urged the group to be more focused and united in rallying round the governor in his second term in office.

The state APC Chairman, Mr Sunday Fagbemi, hailed the people of Moro for voting massively for all APC candidates at the polls.

Fagbemi, who was represented by the party’s Secretary, Alhaji Mustapha Isowo, thanked party faithful in the area for not allowing internal crisis before elections.

The state deputy governor, Mr Kayode Alabi, was represented at the event by the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Mr Mohammed Saifudeen.

Other dignitaries at the event included the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr Afeez Abolore, Mr Abiden Katibi and Mr Layi Ayinde.
