Minister of State for Works, Bello Mohammad Goronyo, has commended the organisers of the Caliphate Icon Awards for sustaining a credible platform that celebrates excellence, service and positive societal impact across Nigeria.
The Minister gave the commendation while delivering a goodwill address at the 2025 Caliphate Icon Awards, organised by Amazing Fame Concepts in collaboration with the Caliphate Youth Forum. The event was held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Sokoto Guest House, Sokoto State.
Rt. Hon. Goronyo described the awards as more than a recognition ceremony, noting that they serve as a powerful source of motivation—especially for young people—to uphold integrity, resilience, and selfless service in the collective task of nation-building.

According to him, national progress is driven by individuals who consistently give their best, often quietly and in the face of challenges, for the good of society. He urged Nigerian youths to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to making meaningful contributions to their communities and the country at large.
The Minister congratulated the award recipients, describing them as role models whose achievements underscore the value of dedication, hard work, and service. He noted that their recognition sends a strong message that excellence and positive impact do not go unnoticed.
Rt. Hon. Goronyo also reaffirmed the commitment of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, to promoting merit, rewarding excellence, and creating an enabling environment where innovation, talent, and enterprise can thrive across all sectors of the Nigerian economy.
He concluded by congratulating Amazing Fame Concept, the Caliphate Youth Forum, and all the award recipients, expressing confidence that the recognition would further inspire greater commitment to service, youth empowerment, and national development.
