A heartwarming display of kindness and humility took centre stage at the CAC Way-To-Life 2025 Annual Cultural Praises Day. Pastor Francois Machichi and his wife, Solange Mambwe, shared a powerful testimony that showcased the impact of Pastor Adebowale Adeoye’s selflessness.
Despite being a stranger and not sharing a common language, Pastor Adeoye went above and beyond to assist Pastor Machichi in establishing his church in the same town.

“I already got approval from the government of Canada to establish a church. However, I had no one to guide me on how to go about it. I contacted Pastor Adeoye, who had never met me before, who didn’t know me. He not only helped me to establish my church, but he also gave me some take-off gifts, which included a big television.”
The gesture was met with admiration as Pastor Machichi expressed his gratitude during his sermon, titled ‘Trust in God.’

In his sermon, Pastor Machichi drew from 1 Chronicles 14:8-14, emphasizing the importance of trusting in God’s power to overcome challenges. He encouraged the congregation to have faith, citing God’s promise to fight their battles and grant them victory.

The Cultural Praises event was a vibrant celebration of diversity, featuring performances from various tribes and countries, including Togo, Liberia, Ghana, and different Nigerian states. The church elders’ warm hospitality welcomed guests to the packed auditorium, where attendees overflowed with joy and praise.
The event highlighted the beauty of unity and kindness, as exemplified by Pastor Adeoye’s actions, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
