Next generation network, Globacom, has congratulated Nigerians for witnessing a new year just as it wished them a prosperous and remarkable Year 2016.
In a statement released to the media, the company, which promised its customers improved quality of products and services in the new year, charged Nigerians to keep hope alive in spite of the harsh economic realities facing the nation and be positive in their outlook and approach.
The statement expressed strong optimism that with collective hard work, sincerity of purpose by both the leaders and the led, and an enduring commitment to do the right thing always, the country’s economic prospects will improve.
Globacom said that the beginning of a new year offers Nigerians a unique opportunity to take stock and restart their personal, social, economic or political lives with renewed vigour and passion.

“The beginning of a new year is a fresh opportunity to set new goals
and review past achievements with a view to taking vital lessons and
reshuffling priorities. As a nation, we have a window to increase our
love for others, strengthen the bonds of unity and generally kick
start life again.”

Globacom urged all Nigerians across board to join hands and support
all efforts aimed at breathing life into the economy, rebuild
institutions, create jobs, fight corruption and indiscipline and
generally turn things around within a short time to enable the country
to assume its true status as the giant of Africa.

Whilst thanking its millions of subscribers for keeping faith with the
company throughout 2015, Globacom assured them of continued investment
in technology and human resources in line with its tradition of
offering innovative world class services.

It added that the recent strategic partnership it entered into with
global telecom brand Vodafone would significantly boost the experience
of its individual and corporate customers through a wide range of
world class voice and data services.
