The Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Dr Boboye Oyeyemi, has approved the redeployment of 588 promoted personnel of the corps nationwide.
A statement by Mr Bisi Kazeem, Head, Media Relations and Strategy of FRSC, said on Friday that the redeployment involved Deputy Corps Marshals, Assistant Corps Marshals and Corps Commanders.
“Following the recent promotion of senior and other intermediate officers of the FRSC, the Corps Marshal has approved the posting of some of the newly-promoted officers.
“Those involved are all expected to report to their new Commands latest by Wednesday, January 18, 2017,’’ Kazeem said.
He said that five of the 12 Corps Commanders presently serving as Zonal Head of Operations had been redeployed to other zones in the same capacity.
He said five of the 37 Corps Commanders presently serving as Sector Commanders were posted out.
In line with the new designations, the Corps Marshal called on the Officers to continue to be committed to their schedules and share in the vision of making Nigerian roads safer.
