First Lady to Nigerians: Jonathan is your papa, vote for him

‘You must vote for your papa, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, on Saturday. You know your mama is not contesting. So, don’t disgrace me that day. Shine your eyes very well and vote for PDP, the only party in the country’.
With these words, First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, on Tuesday, told the electorate to vote for her husband, President Goodluck Jonathan, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Jonathan’s main challenger on Saturday is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Major-General Muhammadu Buhari.
Dame Jonathan also told Nigerians to reject Buhari and other APC candidates during the March 28 and April 11 general elections.
She spoke at the PDP Women Presidential Campaign Rally in Ondo State.
Venue is the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Arcade, Akure.
At the event were Governor Olusegun Mimiko and his wife, the deputy governor and his wife, Chief Olusola Oke, PDP Women Leaders and other party chiefs.
To her, the APC is only out to deceive Nigerians.
“APC is dead and buried. PDP is unshakeable. Very soon, everybody will leave APC. PDP is the only credible party and we won’t allow APC to rig us out because the only thing they know is rigging. PDP is the only answer. Vote for us and allow us to continue in 2015,” she told the crowd.
