Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will take on Uruguay in a FIFA U-20 World Cup Round of 16 match on Tuesday night in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Flying Eagles had on Thursday in Istanbul qualified for the next stage of the on-going 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey.
They had emerged Group B runners-up after beating South Korea 1-0 to amass six points from two wins and one loss from three matches, one point behind group leaders Portugal.
On their part, Uruguay also finished second in Group F on six points after they beat Uzbekistan 4-0 in their final group game on Saturday in Antalya.
Croatia had won the group to avoid a second straight clash with Nigeria when they defeated New Zealand 2-1 in Bursa.
The Flying Eagles had defeated the Croats 5-2 at the last edition of the competition, held at Colombia in 2011.
The second round match is scheduled to kick off at 9 p.m local time, which is 7 p.m Nigerian time.
The winners of the match between Nigeria and Uruguay will then advance to the competition’s quarter-finals, where they will play in Bursa on Saturday.
