FC Zurich defeated title rivals, Basel, 2-0 away on Sunday to clinch a 13th Swiss championship.

FCZ, only eighth last season, secured the title with four games to spare.

They are coached by former Schalke 04 manager, André Breitenreiter.

Assan Ceesay and Nikola Boranijasevic grabbed the goals as second-placed Basel had no answer.

Last season’s champions, Young Boys Bern, sit third.
