Fans and supporters of music icon, Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba, have expressed concerns following recent reports of crisis between him and his new wife, Natasha Osawaru.

Freedomonline  reports that the situation has become a major topic online as fans are divided in their opinions, with criticism and support trailing the incident.

The public outcry was primarily fuelled by an alleged altercation between the couple recently in London.

Natasha was reportedly upset after 2Baba left her behind to greet fans at an airport, which led to a faceoff between the couple, resulting to the arrest of the singer by the UK Police.

The singer was seen being arrested in footage that has set social media on fire with reactions from fans, an incident confirmed by his former manager, Kaka Igbokwe.

The social media frenzy was recently intensified when a heated argument between the couple was accidentally broadcast during a live Instagram session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze.

As the crisis lingers, netizens have flooded X, TikTok, and Instagram with comments and speculations, turning the incident into one of the most talked-about events online.

They reacted in their usual mix of humourous banter, criticism, and concern, as some criticised 2Baba for his choices, while others took Natasha’s side, praising her assertiveness and resilience.

@gabe_teee wrote, “2Baba will be a lesson to men who can’t zip up and stay with one woman.”

@augustinanzubechi wrote,”He needed someone that will challenge him and he got it.”

Another Instagram user @rejoice.johnson added “From African queen to African warrior.”

An X user @Talk2veee tweeted, “Thought you people said 2Baba married for peace of mind? What is all this chaos? She even continued the fight when he joined Daddy Freeze on his Live session.”

Another fan @TheHumanOrion commented, “I’m sure 2Baba knew what he was signing up for when he started entangling with Natasha. Their unrest was only a matter of time.”

Popular Nigerian skit maker and artist, Nasboi, shared an emotional reaction: “I feel very heartbroken every time I see 2Baba in all this mess.” Meanwhile others focused on the complexity of relationship.

@workof_God said, “2Baba has proof yet again that some men don’t want peace. They like wicked women. If you’re good to them, they get bored; they like dragons.

“ Taylor Swift sang it in her song that ‘men only want love if it’s torture.’ They keep shouting they want peace but they crave the opposite.”

@millennial_fash also commented, “I thought Annie was the one preventing him from entering the studio?”

@naijahairstyle added, When we tell men to have self-control & protect their pride, this is what we are talking about.

@Winco_Hp commented, “Women are really really powerful in a bad way — look at 2Baba: a calm, legendary, and incredibly talented artist, a woman has pushed him to act out wildly on the internet.”

@AmorimEra noted, “2Baba should never have left Annie after all of these years through thick and thin. Now where he thought he’ll find peace with Natasha is where 2Baba is finding chaos. Not every shiny toy is good for you.”

Meanwhile the singer’s brother Hyacinth Idibia took to Instagram, quoting lyrics from one of 2Baba’s songs, saying that what was once “just lyrics” now seemed like “a painful reality.”

He, therefore, appealed to his brother: “Allow us save you … you’ve been suffering for too long.”

Freedomonline reports that 2Baba and Natasha Osawaru held their private traditional wedding ceremony on July 25, following the singer’s separation from his previous wife, Annie Macaulay, in January.
