Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, on Sunday, made his first public appearance since the declaration of a state of emergency on March 18 by President Bola Tinubu.

He was suspended for six months.
Fubara attended church service at Salvation Ministries in Port Harcourt.

Dressed in an all-white outfit, Fubara received a warm welcome from worshippers with loud cheers as he arrived.

Many were seen shouting ‘Governor Fubara, Governor Fubara’. Security officials of the church and Fubara’s aides tried to control the worshippers.
