Everton embarrass Manchester United in four-goal thriller

It was a humiliating defeat for
Manchester United on Sunday as they were thrashed 4-0 by Everton on their return to Premier League action at Goodison Park.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his side were left embarrassed after four goals without reply saw them humbled on Sunday afternoon.
Everton started the game on the front foot and struck early when Richarlison struck from close range.
Gylfi Sigurdsson then doubled the lead before half-time when he finished off a counter-attack with a great effort from distance.
United looked for a change at the break but soon fell three down when Lucas Digne smashed a great volley in from outside of the box.
United were shell-shocked and although they pushed for a way back into the match, they conceded a fourth when substitute, Theo Walcott, finished coolly on the break to emphatically seal the three points for his side.
