everton_logoEverton FC of England manager, Roberto Martinez, is keen on snatching Nigeria winger, Victor Moses from Chelsea FC.

The Everton boss revealed that he is set to splash a whopping £10 million on the recuperating Chelsea player.

He noted that he wants to make Nigerian Nations Cup star his first signing since arriving at Goodison Park.

Martinez was manager of Wigan Athletic when Moses played at the Latic and his influence helped in the 22-year-old’s development.

According to reports in England, the Spanish coach is ready to take the Nigerian international, who is reported to likely face an unsure future at Stamford Bridge following Chelsea’s appointment of Jose Mourinho as manager, under his care again.

This follows reports linking Chelsea with the chance of signing a few big names with the return of Mourinho.

Already Moses played mostly from the bench in his first season at Chelsea with Juan Mata, Eden Hazard and Brazilian Oscar regarded ahead of the Nigerian.

The Nigerian international found first-team chances difficult to come by at Stamford Bridge last season despite his £9m move from the DW stadium last summer and he may well be persuaded to rejoin his old boss at Everton. It remains to be seen whether new Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is going to give Moses any more chances at Chelsea and, he is more than likely going to bring in his own targets, so a move to Everton could be on the cards.

Moses joined Chelsea from Wigan last summer for a transfer fee believed to be around £9 million.
