Enyimba players end strike

Players of former Africa club champions, Enyimba International Football Club, have confirmed they have ended a pay strike.
The players are owed 10 match bonuses and 25 per cent of their sign-on-fees from last season and as a result had boycotted training during the past week.
However, following a meeting with club chairman, Felix Anyansi-Agwu, the players have since resumed their responsibilities.
One of the club players, Abdulrahman Bashir, revealed: “We have decided to call off the strike for now. We met with the chairman over our unpaid entitlements for last season and he told us it is being delayed due to election. He promised that we will be paid as soon as the election is over.”
