Governor Sullivan Chine of Enugu State is not dead afterall, contrary to earlier reports in the day.

The State Commissioner for Information, Chuks Ugwoke has described the news of the governor’s death as the handiwork of mischief makers.

Reacting to the news that went viral across the country, Ugwoke said Chime was very much alive.

He said the news was unfounded as “the Governor is hale and hearty.”

He stressed that the Governor had no business, health or otherwise in India and vowed that this time around, the government would get to the root of the rumour, to unmask those behind the incessant posting of such fake news on the internet.
