JUSUN strike: NBA embarks on bail of suspects in detention

Enugu Correctional Centre has beefed up security around the facility to forestall any attack that could lead to jailbreak.
Spokesman for the centre, Mr Emeka Monday, said this in Enugu on Tuesday.
Monday said the measure became necessary, following Monday’s attack on the Police Headquarters and Correctional Centre in Owerri, the Imo capital.
According to him, the centre is working with other sister security agencies to provide maximum security around the Enugu Correctional Centre.
“We are aware of what happened in Imo and have put certain measures in place to ensure that such an ugly incident does not happen here.
“We are on alert and will resist any jailbreak attempt. For now, the centre is secured and safe,” Monday said.
