Enugu approves Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium for APC's presidential campaign flag-off

Enugu State Government  has approved a request by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to use the  Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium for  the party’s presidential campaign flag-off  in Enugu.
Commissioner for Information, Ogbuagu Anikwe,  in a statement, said that the request for the use of the 22,000 capacity stadium dated 18th January, 2019,  was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama.
According to him, the state government has  directed the Commissioner for Youth and Sports “to make the stadium available to the APC for the rally which the party said will hold on January 24, 2019.
