Emenike rejects $8 million a year Chinese deal

Nigerian striker, Emmanuel Emenike, has turned down a bumper offer from China that would have made him the best paid African player.
The 28-year-old Emenike is now on loan to English Premier League side West Ham from Turkish club, Fenerbache.
“The deal in China would have fetched him up to $8 million a year, all tax-free,” said a source close to the player.
“But he preferred to move on loan to the EPL instead.”
Another source hinted the striker could still head to China in June.
“He could still move to China in the summer. It all depends on how things go in England,” said the source.
