Elumelu emerges B20 India Action Council’s Co-Chair

Internationally-recognised banker, billionaire businessman, investor and philanthropist, Tony Elumelu, has emerged a Co-Chair of Business20 – B20 India Action Council.
The globally-respected B20 India Action Council on African Economic Integration is the business side of G20.

It is chaired by the founder & chairman of Bharti Enterprises, Sunil Bharti Mittal.

It is generally believed this agenda will provide a wide range of meaningful benefits to all nations on the continent and beyond.

It is also expected to aid business participation in Africa, and international cooperation in this area will foster an enabling environment for its overall inclusive growth.

Economic, financial and business experts believe The B20 must come together to offer extensive support to make this process a success and work towards an African economic development.

Elumelu is the Founder and Chairman of Heirs Holdings, Chairman of United Bank for Africa (UBA) and Chairman of Nigeria’s largest quoted conglomerate, Transcorp.

He is also the Founder and Chairman of Heirs Oil & Gas, an upstream oil and gas company, whose assets include Nigerian oil block OML17.
