Akeredolu to el-Rufai: Your plot to export banditry to South will fail

“Kindly ignore the blatant falsehoods and rumours regarding my political affiliation. I have referred those spreading this misinformation to my lawyers for further action”.
With the above, the immediate past Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, dismissed claims that he has left the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to join the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
To the former governor, who spoke through one of his aides in a television interview,
the rumour is being spread by those intent on causing trouble.
The aide emphasised that El-Rufai, as a national political figure, would not have switched to the PDP without announcing it publicly.
El-Rufai urged the public to dismiss any false claims regarding his political affiliation.
He also mentioned that he had reported the main culprits behind the false information to his lawyers for legal action.
“Kindly ignore the blatant falsehoods and rumors regarding my political affiliation. I have referred those spreading this misinformation to my lawyers for further action,” he wrote.
