Edo APC bars journalists from covering congress

Ahead of the January 27 primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC), a leading Governorship Aspirant of the party and former Secretary to the State Government, Hon Biodun Oyebanji, has urged his supporters to continue marketing his programmes to the people of the state and avoid joining issues with opposing camps.

Oyebanji, who restated his commitment to running an issue-based campaign, urged his supporters to focus more on key areas of development, competence, character, capacity and track record, among others in making the campaign issue-based.

He urged them to avoid needless arguments, insults and name calling, all of which are inimical to peace and goodwill in the party.

“The next two weeks are crucial for our campaign. Let us focus on pushing a message of hope, peace, progress and development for all sons and daughters of Ekiti. I deeply appreciate your tireless support. Together we will continue to uphold the Ekiti dream”, he added.
