Eid-el-Kabir : Ex Nasarawa lawmaker preaches peace, unity

Alhaji Mohammed Muluku, a former member of the Nasarawa State of Assembly has called on the Muslim Ummah in the state and Nigeria to be peaceful and unite at all times.
The former lawmaker made the call in a Sallah message by his Media Aide, Mr Yask Abimiku,  issued on Wednesday in Nasarawa-Eggon.
Muluku, who represented Nasarawa-Eggon East constituency in the fifth and sixth assembly of the state, advised Muslims to be tolerant and show love to others, irrespective of religious affiliations.
He, particularly called on the Muslim faithful to extend their hands of friendship and support to others, adding that such move would lead to progress and growth in the society.
” On behalf of myself, family and supporters, I wish to congratulate all Muslim faithful on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
”I wish them a peaceful and rewarding celebration.
” I want to urge my Muslims brothers and sisters to imbibe the virtue of love, obedience, and sacrifice as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
”I urge them to be tolerant of practitioner of other religions and support the needy in the society,” he urged
Muluku, who stressed the significance of Eid-El-Kabir to adherents of Islam, called on Muslim faithful to use the occasion to deepen their faith and submission to the will of Allah.
He called on the people of the state to support President Bola Tinubu and Gov. Abdullahi Sule of the state, as they strive toward providing quality leadership to Nigerians.
“Gov Abdullahi Sule has done well and still doing well in almost all sectors of the economy.
” Let’s all pray and support him to succeed, so that we will enjoy more dividends of democracy in the state,” he said.
 Muluku called on the people of the state to be law abiding, adding that such move would further promote peace and tranquility in the state
