The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Monday, invited the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, to its headquarters in Jabi area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Edu was invited less than one hour after she was suspended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over her role in the alleged diversion of palliative funds.
A source at the commission said forensic experts are already waiting to interrogate the suspended minister over her role in the payment of more than half a billion naira into the account of an individual.
