Former Super Eagles defender, Taye Taiwo, has been invited to undergo trials with Legia Warszawa in a bid to earn a permanent deal with the Polish outfit.
The defender is currently on the books with Buraspor in Turkey, but has fallen out of favour at the club and has spent the entire season out of manager Senol Gunes’ plans.
The former Super Eagles left-back will now be hoping to impress at Warszawa, where he spent Monday in the gym before a light training session with his potential new team-mates.
Taiwo has plenty of experience in Europe, having previously represented Marseille, with whom he won the French Ligue 1 title in 2010, while he has also turned out for AC Milan, Queens Park Rangers and Dynamo Kiev.
