Nigerian emerging Afro-fusion artiste, Dennis Oni-Olaonipekun, popularly known as “Dennis Today”, has released a track titled “VDM” (Very Deep Message).
The artiste, in a statement issued on Friday in Lagos, said the song addresses the current socio-economic challenges in the country.
According to Dennis Today, in poignant lyrics, he highlights the struggles of ordinary citizens and calls on the government to take action in alleviating the hardship.

He said the track was produced by acclaimed Nigerian record producer, Isaac Geqorge, popularly known as Zikay.
“The song is a heartfelt plea for awareness and change, resonating with many who are feeling the brunt of these issues.
“My manager, Pelumi Ogundele (Chocymedia) and other members of my team advised against releasing this track.
“But I told them, if some of us don’t speak out, government won’t take note.
“VDM is not just a song; it is a call to action, aiming to provoke thought and inspire a collective push for improvement in governance.”
