Nigerian Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has presented fellow music star Mayorkun with a Tesla Cybertruck.
Davido disclosed the gift on Sunday through a post shared on his verified Instagram Story.
The award-winning singer uploaded a photograph of the electric vehicle and directed that it should be delivered to Mayorkun the following day.
In the message, Davido expressed affection for the singer and tagged Mayorkun alongside one of his associates responsible for arranging the delivery.
Mayorkun, whose full name is Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, later reposted the announcement on his verified Instagram Story.
He thanked Davido with the message, “Love 4L, 001,” using the popular nickname associated with the music star.
The announcement quickly attracted congratulatory messages from fans, entertainers and other social media users.
Nigerian singer Danagog was among those who publicly congratulated Mayorkun following the announcement.
The luxury gift also generated widespread discussion online, with many fans describing it as another demonstration of the longstanding friendship between the two artistes.
