Commander of 4 special forces visits formations, units

Maj.-Gen. Hillary Nzan, the Commander, 4 Special Forces of the Nigerian Army, Doma, Nasarawa State, has visited some of the formations and units under his command.
 Maj. Joseph Afolasade, Acting Deputy Director, Army Public Relations of the command, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday in Doma.
Afolasade said that the commander, who assumed duty on July 14, visited Wawa Cantonment, Kainji, Niger State.
He added that the commander during the visit interacted with personnel from 403 Amphibious Brigade, Army Giwa Project, 221 Tank Battalion and 101 Special Forces Battalion Rear.
”The commander also addressed wives of personnel at the barracks and urged them to regularly pray for their husbands who are in battle fields confronting  bandits and other terrorists in the country.
“He advised troops to be professional, diligent and united as they strive to defeat bandits and other criminal groups in the nation,” Afolasade quoted the commander.
The spokesman explained that Nzan was received by Maj. Ibrahim Mohammed, the Commanding Officer 101 Battalion Rear and some senior officers at Wawa Cantonment, Kainji.
