All three Nigerian clubs hosting continental club matches this weekend will play their games on Saturday.
Kano Pillars, 2-0 winners over Al Malakia FC in Juba penultimate weekend, host the South Sudanese team at the Sani Abacha Stadium in the return leg of their CAF Champions League fixture, starting from 4pm.
Reward for qualification is a second round match-up against the winner of the fixture involving C.O.B of Mali and M.A.T of Morocco.
Nigeria’s other flag-bearer in the CAF Champions League, Enyimba FC will depart Nigeria on Friday for Benin Republic, where they will defend a 3-0 first leg win over Buffles du Borgu in Cotonou. They will face the winner between Al Ahli of Libya and Smouha of Egypt in the second round.
The Warri Township Stadium will host the CAF Confederation Cup clash between Warri Wolves and Racing Club Bobo-Dioulasso, with the Nigerian representatives 1-0 up from the first leg away. The winner will play Cote d’Or of Seychelles or Dedebit of Ethiopia in the next round.
In Port Harcourt, Dolphins FC have something to rescue having lost the first leg by a lone goal to Leones Vegetarianos of Equatorial Guinea. Victory over two legs will set the Nigerians up against illustrious campaigners, Club Africain of Tunisia.
