Rev. Tajan Moltok, the Jos Resident Pastor of Shepherd House Assembly International, has urged Christians to give thanks to God in all situations.
The cleric made the call at the Church annual thanksgiving service and the graduation of 24 Bible School students, on Sunday in Jos.
Moltok said that Christians were instructed to give thanks even when they experienced challenges adding, ”such situations are just temporary phases.
“Never allow your situation prevent you from thanksgiving , where you are is just a passing phase,” he said .
He urged Christians to desist from grumbling when confronted with challenges but thank God saying, “Thanks giving provokes the appearance of God”.
The clergyman urged Christians not to succumb to the ploys of the devil through grumbling on what they have not achieved, saying that such action will affect their testimonies.
Moltok said: ”God allows his children to go through certain situations to know their hearts and build them for future blessings.
”Through thanksgiving, God forgives iniquities by showing his mercy while also delivering his children from destruction.”
Moltok urged the graduates to be ambassadors of Jesus Christ, and propagate His word to expand His Kingdom.
