Chinese auto firm assembles 1,000 buses, coaches in Nigeria

A Chinese Motor Company, Yutong, has assembled nearly 1,000 buses and coaches for the Nigerian market.
This is contained in a statement in Abuja on Thursday, by Mr Robben Xiong of the International Business Department of the company.

The statement said that since 2007, Yutong had established its presence in the country with l the continuous efforts of its professional marketing and service team.

The statement added that the models available include: ZK6100NGA9, ZK6118HGA, ZK6120D, ZK6729D, ZK6147H, ZK6858H9, ZK6100H, ZK6831H, and ZK6608DM among others.

“ This covers a large array of market segments as in city transport, inter-city transport, staff buses, tourism and coaches thus making Yutong number one exporter of medium and large buses and coaches to Nigeria.

“The company holds a market share of over 60 per cents within all the Chinese exporters in the country.”

According to the statement, from the very beginning, the company has set up its marketing and sales, service as well as spare parts team in Lagos and Abuja to enable the company to provide professional service to its customers.
