Rev Fr. Charles Onomhoale Ikechi, a Catholic Priest from the Archdiocese of Benin, Edo State has been shot dead.
He was attacked by gunmen at Amufi in Benin City. The killers collected his car and other personal belongings. His corpse was recovered this morning.
He was ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Benin on 13th August 2022.
He spent just 10 months in priesthood. Until his death, he was the Vice Principal of St. Michael College, Ikhueniro.
