Car plunges into river near Ore

car in riverA blue Honda Accord car with registration number DA05SGM (Ogun) plunged into a river at Idogun, a few kilometres to Ore, on the Benin Sagamu Expressway.

Rescue officials who were at the scene at about noon on Saturday, were able to bring out the driver and another occupant. Both were rushed to an hospital in Ore.

The officials were still battling to retrieve the car from the river as at the time of this report.
