The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee has officially confirmed the revised dates for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) which will now take place from 2nd to 30th August, 2025 across Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
The decision was made during a CAF Executive Committee meeting held on Monday, January 27th, 2025, in Rabat, Morocco.
Initially scheduled for February 2024, the tournament was postponed to allow the three host nations additional time to finalise key infrastructural and facility upgrades necessary for a successful event.
CHAN is an exclusive competition for players in their respective domestic leagues, offering a platform for local talent to shine on the continental stage.
