President Muhammadu Buhari has informed the Senate of his intention to embark on a 10-day working leave from January 23 to February 6.
According to a letter to the Senate, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will act as the Commander-in-Chief during the period.
The transmission of the letter to the Senate was in compliance with Section 145 (1) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended).
