Buhari defeats Atiku in Obasanjo’s polling unit in Abeokuta

President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has defeated Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s polling unit in Abeokuta, Ogun State in Saturday’s presidential poll.

INEC Presiding Officer for the centre,  Adakole Ochegbudu, announced that Buhari scored 87 votes, while Atiku scored 18 votes.

Obasanjo had severally castigated Buhari and openly announced his support for Atiku ahead of the election.
